Ever Bilena Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream (Chiffon)

Buy it here!

I just recently made a review of the new EB Advance Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream in the shade Chiffon (YT video here) and here are my thoughts about it.

At first, one may have an impression that the new EB Advance Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream is a dupe of the Glossier Cloud Paint because the component and appearance of both products are very similar. However, after trying the newest EB product, i realized they are very different in terms of consistency and pigmentation.

Careline Multi Pot (Abracadabra) Review

Before the pandemic happened, I have been wanting to buy a cream blush for myself. I particularly wanted something practical, like a multi-use makeup product, so I searched for the cheapest all-in-one cream makeup product in Watsons and found the Careline Multi Pot.

 Buy this product here!

The Careline Multi Pot retails for Php 165 and has three shades: Abracadabra, Head Over Heels, and Magic Spell. I got Abracadabra which is a berry shade and is perfect for that drunk-blush effect.

I made a YouTube video about this product, but in this blog, I'm breaking down my thoughts about it for you.

Product Info:

  • Distrubuted by Ever Bilena Cosmetics
  • Has 2.2 grams of product
  • Expires 24 months after opening
  • It is cruelty free and paraben free

7 Things I Learned from Beauty Vlogging on YouTube

In December 2016, I was lured into the glitz and glamour of this "millennial thing" called beauty vlogging. Who wouldn't be? Famous beauty vloggers are perceived to be beautiful and flawless, stylish and glamorous, influential and popular, artistic and talented. To top these flattering qualities, they also receive beauty products from reputable brands, get invited as a-listers to fun events and parties, and earn a living by just making videos of themselves doing their makeup, right at the comfort of their homes. Who wouldn't want those? I, for sure, wanted those and so, I tried to be a beauty vlogger. I called myself "Mukap Girl."

I thought it would be easy. All I have to do is upload videos about makeup, right? But boy was I so wrong. Here are seven lessons I learned from beauty vlogging on YouTube for over a year.

Ever Bilena Dipliner

Dear Juliet,

I am often told that the brand and price of makeup do not really matter as far as looking good is concerned. What's important is the quality of the makeup and how it is applied. So, for my first cosmetics review, let me show you my winged eyeliner--a makeup look I am trying to master the past few days. I am not a PRO makeup artist. Yes, I work in a local cosmetics company, but I can only do my own makeup. This is going to be my first attempt to blog about cosmetics, so please bear with me.

I used the Ever Bilena Dipliner.
How I did it: I started with a thin stroke from the inner eye corner, making the strokes thicker as the felt tip approaches the outer corner. Following the direction of the lower lash line, create the tip and decide the length you want for your wing. Even out the strokes so that you have a clean finish.
What I like about it: It has a felt tip, which makes application quick, easy, and clean; It dries quickly so the liquid does not smear.
What I don't like about it: It has a shiny finish (I like matte better); It cracks after some time.

When you blink too much or accidentally stretch your skin, this is what happens to the dipliner:

All in all, it does its job as a liquid eyeliner. It's an affordable option for the budget restrained. But if asked if I'd buy one again, I'd have to say no. I'd invest in more expensive brands especially if I know that it'll last and that it has better quality.

TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST.
TOUGH PEOPLE DO.
