Ever Bilena Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream (Chiffon)

Buy it here!

I just recently made a review of the new EB Advance Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream in the shade Chiffon (YT video here) and here are my thoughts about it.

At first, one may have an impression that the new EB Advance Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream is a dupe of the Glossier Cloud Paint because the component and appearance of both products are very similar. However, after trying the newest EB product, i realized they are very different in terms of consistency and pigmentation.

For one, the EB Power Paint has a thick mouse consistency while the Glossier Cloud Paint has a thin gel-cream consistency. As far as pigmentation is concerned, the EB Power Paint is very pigmented while the Glossier Cloud Paint is subtle. With these differences in consistency and quality, I have to say that the former is NOT a dupe of the latter. Take note of this definition of "dupe" from Buzzfeed:

Given that their consistency and quality are different, it's difficult to conclude that the EB Advance Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream are infact dupes of the high-end Cloud Paints. But as Buzzfeed puts it, the EB Advance Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream is nothing to scoff at.

Over all, I liked the new EB Advance Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream. It is easy to use, very handy, and the shade is friendly to the morena skin tone. Here are other useful information you might need before purchasing the EB Advance Power Paint Multi-use Color Cream.

Product Info:

  • Distrubuted by Ever Bilena Cosmetics
  • Has 11 grams of product
  • It comes in a squeezy tube component
  • Expires 24 months after opening
  • It is cruelty free, paraben free, and vegan

My first impressions:

  • On my bare face, the product is easy to blend, though there is a bit of tugging on the skin and is quite sticky.
  • A little bit of product goes a long way as it is very pigmented.
  • The product has a thick mousse-like consistency which dries down to a dewy finish.
  • On the lips, it is also easy to apply and it spread evenly on my dry lips.
  • It might leave the lips feeling a little dry because of its formula.

Pros:

  • It is affordable at Php 199.
  • It is a mutli-use product, so you'll definitely get a bang for your buck.
  • A little product goes a long way, so this will definitely last for quite a while.
  • Chiffon is a wearable shade for morenas.

Cons:

  • The product leaves a sticky feeling on the cheeks, but this is just a minor issue a setting/translucent powder can't solve.
  • The lips might feel dry, so make sure to top it off with lip balm or gloss.
